Academy Soccer is a fun introduction to the game of soccer
Junior Academy is designed to be fun and interactive. We utilize unique games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Our goal is to cultivate a love of the game at an early age.
For players 3 to 5 years old!
Senior Academy while similar to the Junior Academy with the use of fun games focuses on the individual skills, and introducing small sided games. The Senior Academy helps prepare players for healthy competition at older age groups.
For players 5 to 6 years old!
SMALL-SIDED GAMES CHART
Small-sided standards are youth games played with less than 11 players on each team. Playing with less players on the field means that players are constantly involved in play and provided with more opportunities for touches on the ball and overall player development. Not only are there fewer players, but small-sided games also use smaller fields, goals and balls, shorter game times and some different rules to optimize the game for younger players.
Academy Soccer: A Foundational Philosophy
At Alliance Soccer Club, our Academy for ages 3–6 introduces young players to soccer through fun, movement, and imagination. Every session is designed to spark excitement, build confidence, and help children fall in love with the game.
Players develop basic ball skills, coordination, and teamwork through playful, age-appropriate activities in a positive and encouraging environment. Our coaches focus on effort, creativity, and participation—allowing children to explore the game without pressure or fear of mistakes.
As players grow, they begin learning simple game concepts like sharing the ball, taking turns, and playing together building a strong foundation for future development.
At Alliance SC, success at this age is not measured by scores or standings—it is measured by smiles, confidence, and a love for soccer.

Director MiakaylaTopovich has been part of the Alliance Soccer Club family for over 22 years, first as a player and now as a leader within the Club. She has served on the Alliance SC coaching staff for 11 years, working as a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Trainer, and Program Creator/Director.
She holds a Master’s degree in M.S. Applied Behavior Analysis and currently serves as the 2008 Girls Surge Assistant Coach and Alliance SC Academy Director, where she helps guide the club’s player development pathway. Coach Topovich also founded Alliance SC’s Summer Camp program and continues to lead camps whenever available.
An Alliance SC alumna and Montgomery College Women’s Soccer alumna, Coach Topovich brings a deep understanding of the club’s values, culture, and long-term development philosophy.
Her passion is helping young players discover a love for the game while developing confidence, skills, and character. She is proud to be part of the LOUYAA Alliance Soccer program and is excited to see players and families back on the fields this spring.
Promise Green
Head Academy Trainer
Promise Green has been training with Alliance Soccer Club for over three years, working with players across multiple age groups in both the Academy and Recreational programs. As an Alliance SC alumna, she brings a strong connection to the club’s culture and development philosophy.
Promise is currently a student at Hood College, where she continues to grow as both a player and leader. Her training sessions emphasize skill development, confidence, and a positive learning environment that encourages players to enjoy the game while improving.
Promise is passionate about helping young athletes build a strong foundation, develop their abilities, and grow their love for soccer through engaging and age-appropriate training.
