Our "Why"
The program was created in the hope that throughout the initiatives and acts of kindness that we would broaden our players’s understanding of the world around them, encourage them to look outside themselves, see the bigger picture in their communities and to strengthen family bonds through coming together on missions.
Essentially, teaching them a strong sense of self within their communities and empowering them to be well-rounded, more understanding and appreciative, as they grow into adulthood.
In some cases, this has become a family affair, including siblings and that makes it even more fulfilling.
The Warrior Hearts Initiative is about slowing down, taking a look outside ourselves and pulling those up that need a hand.
The benefit to the players and their families who can see the impact they have had on the community has been immeasurable.
