Camp runs from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and is designed for players entering 1st and 2nd Grade (U7–U9).

Alliance Soccer Club focuses on player development, fostering a love for the game, and building friendships with both new and returning players.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of soccer through age-appropriate training focused on foot skills, ball control, coordination, movement, fitness, and small-sided games. Players will build the foundation needed to become confident and successful both on and off the field.

Alliance Soccer Club hosts camp at LOUYAA Park in beautiful New Market, Maryland, serving families throughout Carroll, Frederick, Howard, and Montgomery counties. Conveniently located just off I-70 and Main Street, LOUYAA Park provides a safe and welcoming environment for young athletes.

Middle School Prep Camp

6th-8th Grade Players

ASC Middle School Prep W/Coach John LaRocca

This is a comprehensive summer soccer camp designed for players entering 6th through 8th grade, led by 2025 Frederick County Youth Coach of the Year, Coach John LaRocca.

Coach LaRocca is currently the U-17 Pool Coach for the Maryland State Boys Olympic Development Program (ODP) and serves as the Head Trainer for Alliance SC. He previously co-coached the ASC 2005 Alliance Warriors, who finished their final season ranked #1 in the nation in 2023. In addition, Coach LaRocca led Frederick Community College men’s soccer to its first Region XX Championship and Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference title.

This camp is focused on preparing players for their upcoming fall season and tournaments. Training sessions will include speed and agility development, technical skill training, and tactical understanding. Players will be challenged, pushed beyond their comfort zones, and guided toward a higher level of individual development.

Alliance Soccer Club hosts this camp at Old National Pike Park in beautiful Mt. Airy, MD, serving players from Carroll, Frederick, Howard, and Montgomery Counties. The park is conveniently located just off Route 144, with Field #4 located at the back of the park.

Future Keepers Camp is designed specifically for young goalkeepers beginning their goalkeeper journey in the 7v7 game environment. This camp introduces players to the fundamentals of goalkeeping while helping them build confidence, coordination, and a love for the position.

Players will focus on foundational goalkeeper skills including handling, footwork, positioning, diving basics, shot stopping, communication, and safe goalkeeping techniques through fun and engaging training activities.

Junior Keepers Camp is designed for developing goalkeepers transitioning into the 9v9 game environment. This camp focuses on helping players improve decision-making, game awareness, communication, and the technical skills needed to succeed at the next level of play.

Goalkeepers will continue developing important position-specific skills including handling, footwork, positioning, diving technique, shot stopping, distribution, breakaways, and overall game management. Training sessions are designed to prepare players for the increased pace, spacing, and tactical demands of the 9v9 game.

ASC Premier Goalkeeper Camp  

Premier Keepers Camp is designed for experienced goalkeepers competing in the 11v11 game environment who are looking to elevate their performance and prepare for higher levels of competitive soccer.

This advanced camp focuses on technical execution, positioning, communication, leadership, shot stopping, distribution, breakaways, crosses, reaction training, and overall game management. Sessions are designed to challenge goalkeepers in realistic game situations while improving confidence, consistency, and decision-making under pressure.

Alliance Soccer Club hosts camp at LOUYAA Park in beautiful New Market, Maryland, providing a competitive and professional training environment where goalkeepers can continue developing their skills and passion for the game.

Each day of camp delivers high-level training experiences in a focused, energetic, and competitive atmosphere where goalkeepers can push themselves, improve technical ability, strengthen leadership skills, and continue growing as complete players.

Our Summer Camp Staff

Cristian Topovich- 1st to 6th Grade, Camp Director

Director Topovich is a current Hood College Men’s Soccer player, Alvernia University Men’s Soccer alumnus, and Alliance SC 2005 Academy “Warriors” alumnus. The ASC 05 Academy Warriors were ranked the #1 U18 Boys team in the State of Maryland and #1 nationally, regionally, and across the USA/CAN in 2023.

He currently serves as the Assistant Coach for the Alliance SC 2016B Red Wolves, Co-Coach of the Alliance SC U9B Cobras, and as an Alliance SC Club Team Trainer, where he works with players on technical development, game awareness, and overall confidence on the field.

Director Topovich has coached with Alliance SC for the past six years, working with multiple teams, summer camps, clinics, and futsal programs. Throughout his time with the club, he has helped support player development across a variety of age groups while creating a positive and competitive learning environment for young athletes.

He was a valued member of the staff at last year’s Alliance Summer Soccer Camp and this year’s Winter Futsal Clinics and is excited to continue helping both new and returning players develop their skills, confidence, and passion for the game.

Coach John LaRocca- 6th to 12th Grade Camp Director

Director John LaRocca is currently the U-17 Pool Coach for the Maryland State Boys Olympic Development Program (ODP) and serves as the Head Trainer for Alliance SC. He previously co-coached the ASC 2005 Academy “Warriors,” who finished their final season ranked the #1 U18 Boys team in the State of Maryland and #1 nationally, regionally, and across the USA/CAN in 2023.

Coach LaRocca also served as Head Coach of Frederick Community College Men’s Soccer from 2016–2021, leading the Cougars to their first Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO) title and the first Region XX Division I Championship in school history. During his tenure, he earned Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference Coach of the Year honors.

In 2025, Coach LaRocca was recognized as the Frederick County Youth Coach of the Year, highlighting his impact on youth soccer development throughout the region.

Director LaRocca has led Alliance SC camps for the past six years and is excited to continue helping players develop their technical ability, confidence, and love for the game at this summer’s camps.

Aidan Wright- 1st to 6th Grade, Camp Counselor

Counselor Wright is a current Hood College Men’s Soccer player, Colgate University Men’s Soccer alumnus, Alliance SC 2005 Academy “Warriors” alumnus, Co-Coach of the Alliance SC U9B Cobras, and an Alliance SC Club Trainer. The ASC 05 Academy Warriors were ranked the #1 U18 Boys team in the State of Maryland and #1 nationally, regionally, and across the USA/CAN in 2023.

Counselor Wright has contributed to Alliance SC training camps for the past four years and has worked with players of various ages throughout the club’s camps, clinics, and training programs. He was a valued member of the staff at last year’s Alliance Summer Soccer Camp and continues to help create a positive, energetic, and encouraging learning environment for young players.

With his playing experience and coaching background, Counselor Wright is excited to continue working with both new and returning players at this year’s summer camps while helping players build confidence, improve technical ability, and develop a greater passion for the game of soccer.

Sam Gregorio- 1st to 6th Grade, Camp Counselor

Counselor Gregorio is an Oakdale High School Girls Soccer alumna and former team captain, Frederick Community College Women’s Soccer alumna and former team captain, and an Alliance SC 2005/06G Premier Team alumna.

She has been a valued trainer with Alliance Soccer Academy for the past five years and has worked with players throughout a variety of camps, clinics, and development programs within the club. She was a member of the outstanding staff at last year’s Alliance Summer Camp and is passionate about helping young players build confidence, improve technical skills, and continue developing their love for the game.

Counselor Gregorio looks forward to working with returning campers and welcoming new players this summer in a fun, positive, and encouraging environment.

Brady Densock-1st to 6th Grade, Camp Counselor

Counselor Densock is a Linganore High School soccer alumnus, current club soccer player at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and an ASC 2005 Academy “Warriors” alumnus. The ASC 05 Academy Warriors were ranked the #1 U18 Boys team in the State of Maryland, #1 nationally, regionally, and across the USA/CAN in 2023.

Counselor Densock has been a trainer with Alliance SC for over five years and has worked with players throughout the club’s camps, clinics, and training programs. He was a valued member of the staff at last year’s Alliance Summer Camp and is excited to continue working with both new and returning campers this summer while helping players develop their confidence, technical ability, and passion for the game.

Ethan Russell-Goalkeeper Camp Director

Ethan Russel

Director Ethan Russell is the Alliance SC Goalkeeper Director and Trainer and has been training goalkeepers with the club for the past three years.

Ethan was a Division I goalkeeper who played collegiately at California Baptist University Men’s Soccer and Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Soccer, where he broke the program’s single-season saves record. Throughout his college career, he logged significant minutes competing at the Division I level.

Growing up, he played for the Virginia Development Academy and D.C. United Academy, while also gaining international experience traveling and competing in Argentina, Spain, Germany, and Austria.

Director Ethan is excited to work with players and help goalkeepers continue developing their skills and confidence at this summer’s camp.

Comprised of passionate soccer loving players and Coaches, our staff is here to focus on each player to help them train hard & improve their skills.

Our Staff boasts a tremendous amount of experience with camps, club and collegiate play.

 

Refunds will not be given 10 days prior to camp start date.

RAIN- Alliance Soccer Camp will play in the rain provided fields are deemed safe and there is NO lightening. Staff and Campers should always be prepared to play during inclement weather conditions.

Camp Directors will be monitoring radar throughout the day.

If unplayable weather is deemed nearby, campers will meet their coaches for instruction. Field Dugouts are designated shelter for campers.

Teams will only report back to the field of play once given the approval of a camp director.
